Dave could that be why my Ranchero misses at high rpm 5500, after it is warmed up? But not when the engine is cool. Engine temp 170 no miss engine temp warmed up at 180 for a while it misses. I have the high volume oil pump, restrictors in the rockers, Ford windage tray Fuel pressure is good. 5 lbs at 5500, My oil pressure seems fine but who is looking at the oil guage when he is running the quarter. I'm running 7 quarts now but I have a dual remote oil filter. I'll have to check that out tommorow add an extra quart and see what it does.
