Last week I asked about a 68 Fastback 428cj car. I was finaly able to talk to the owner (a used car lot) and see the car through a fence (they were closed.
The dealer said it was a 67 GT390 car with a 428cj engine, he wanted $17,500 but would come down on price.
I saw the car through a chain link fence, it was on a display rack. It has nice paint and all the GT markings and gas cap. It looks like new suspension with red poly bushings. It has front disk brakes and Torque thrust wheels. There were three chips in the paint ranging from 1" to 3" long where the hood meets the fenders and the cowl.
I will go back this week when they are open and get the vin # and check the car out better.
If it really is a GT390 and the running gear and interior are in good shape, how much would this car be worth? |
